Where are you?
We are based in a small woodland attached to a farm just outside Truro. This makes us very central and easy to reach.
What activities do you offer?
We offer Adventure Days that consist of learning outdoor skills such as den -building, fire-lighting and basic campfire cooking. These Adventure Days can also be tailored to celebrate recognised holidays such as Halloween or Easter. We can also provide teambuilding days and educational visits for youth groups, schools and colleges.
Where do your activities take place?
At the moment we have a small patch of woodland that has a permanent firepit, a polytunnel for storage, and space for making tarpaulin shelters. There is also an oak field with space for games. We have an exciting development on its way, and this will provide us with another venue on the same site.
Is it safe?
In line with the ethos of Forest School we allow young people to manage risk themselves as they are often the best people to decide if they are able to undertake the activities we provide. Nevertheless, the activities are all supervised and there will always be qualified people and a first aider on site.
Would I need to bring anything with me?
We have all the equipment we need for the activities, so you will only need clothing and footwear suitable for being outdoors in the great British weather! We sometimes cook on site as a pre-arranged activity, but a packed lunch and a flask is also recommended.
How do I get in touch?
